Update to update #2: Spoke with Dr. Liu and Chris is awake & doing well. Dr. Liu showed me photos of the tumors from his liver, original tumor, gall bladder, and the chunk of intestinal scar tissue he pulled out.

Chris is out of surgery and in recovery, but I don’t know much more than that.

Dr. Liu was supposed to come down to the surgery waiting room or give me a call to tell me how it went but, unfortunately, he had back-to-back surgeries and didn’t have time. I’m sure we’ll have the opportunity to talk to him tomorrow.

Just sitting here hoping Chris is waking up without any issues and isn’t in too much pain. Can’t wait to see his face, or at least his eyes and forehead 😷
